MUSIC Questionnaire on Plastic Injection Moulding in Europe

PRESENTATION

This questionnaire has been developed to collect useful information to be used within the European Project MUSIC, "MUlti-layers Control&Cognitive System to drive metal and plastic production line for Injected Components".

The objective "SMART FACTORIES: Energy-aware, agile manufacturing and customization" asks for integration of ICT tools, sensors and methods to manage the manufacturing information in real time addressing modularity, reliability/accuracy and energy efficiency aspects of quality control systems supported by international standardization.

This questionnaire, as part of the DISSEMINATION and EXPLOITATION PLAN, aims at interviewing the EU industrial world to better understand how outcomes and expected impacts could provide benefits and improve knowledge to be competitively applied for all potential customers at different levels (SMEs, Industries, Academia) in the PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING sector.

A special acknowledgement has to be addressed to the European Commission, to EFFRA, the European Factories of the Future Research Association, to the collaborating projects DES-MOLD (http://www.desmold.eu) and PREVIEW (http:\\www.preview-project.eu)  and to the MUSIC Consortium (http://music.eucoord.com/Partners/body.pe).

A special thanks, in advance, is for all those people that will fill in this questionnaire, supporting our research and contributing to better understand the European situation of the Plastic injection Moulding sector.
