Oskar Frech GmbH + Co. KG is the leading manufacturer of hot and cold chamber die casting machines, die casting dies and automation equipment, and also provides single-source solutions for the die casting industry. With 19 international subsidiaries and partner companies, Frech provides its customers with the most comprehensive sales and service network available. Since 62 years the company has continuously set new standards for the industry. It was the first company to begin series production of magnesium hot chamber machines (1966) and introduced the first all-electrically driven die casting machine in 1999. For many years the company has concentrated on the process engineering of die casting. One of the latest innovations for this was introduced with the Frech Gating System (FGS), the first hot runner die casting process capable of series production (2011).

Frech is the machine manufacturer and designs the process. As for the product, the process guidelines and procedures must be defined in order to comprehend the various amount of aspects that characterize the Injection Processes. This includes integration of all new sensors into the machine control such as humidity in die after spray, mass flux of air during venting, metal front sensors, internal die temperature and pressure sensors, ejector pressures for deflection and RFID sensors which are cast into the castings to control the quality. Frech is also involved in the set-up of die casting production line.
